First I wrote down the project and decided my target audience and creative direction, then I dived into the internet, bookstore and library for more beef.
I want to promote the Japanese culture in the area, and attract more NYC resident to experience the Japanese culture not just through restaurant, but everyday groceries, style, housewares or antiques.
Most books I found are related to the history part of East Village, which is not my target aspect.
